Allen was born in Alva, Oklahoma where he grew up and graduated from Alva High School in 1968. Following high school, Allen attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University for two years where he met his future wife Barbara and they were married in 1971. Allen then moved to Edmond where graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Funeral Service Education in 1974. Upon graduation, he moved to Vici where he worked at the Shaw Funeral Home until May of 2000 at which time he came to Woodward and became Manager of Good Samaritan Funeral Home. In July of 2008 he began work with the Billings Funeral Home. he believes that each life lived needs to be honored through providing care and respect to the person and their family. It is a honor to work with the Billings Family to achieve this sacred trust. Allen has been happily married to Barbara for over 38 years and they have been blessed with four children and seven grandchildren. He is a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Gideons International and the Kiwanis International. he enjoys walking and going to see his grandchildren.
