Why Pre-Plan Funeral Services | Homesteaders Life Company Decisions You'll Make in Pre-Need Planning | Personalizing a Funeral Service Tips on Wills Funeral planning is not something that is discussed during ordinary conversation. But by pre-planning your funeral you take the burden off of your loved ones to make difficult decisions during an already trying time.
Pre-planning a funeral can be as simple as writing down your wishes and letting family and friends know where to find it, you could go on to fill out information with us and we will keep it on file until the information is needed. More formal pre-arrangements can be made by purchasing a pre-need contract through us, these contracts are funded through bank trust accounts, annuities, life insurance or by assignment of a pre-existing policy. One common misconception about pre-need policies is that once it is taken out with one funeral home you have to use that funeral home. This is not true, any policy can be transfered to our firm.
